| City-Core has expertise in former military base conversions. No base conversion required more experience at handling the many complexities associated with the mixed-use community than at the Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard. Former bases requires successful long-term partnerships with local, state and federal agencies in order to achieve reuse goals that work with land use, environmental, infrastructure and transportation oportunities.
The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard conversion features a mix of residential, retail and commercial development along with the creation of parks, trails and open space and preservation of historic resources. City-Core has the expertise needed to unify and join these features together.
